The course covers advanced topics in applied behavior analysis.
Participation is open, but recommended only for individuals who have already completed a curriculum that includes the topics listed in the following program: IBT course syllabus.
The prerequisites indicated here ensure a sufficient foundation for understanding the topics covered in the course.
Parents of children with learning difficulties, challenging behaviors, and/or autism.
The course is also aimed at educators, teachers, pedagogues, and speech therapists who want to introduce the behavioral approach (ABA) into their practice.
The potential users of future behavior technicians are individuals:
- with autism
- with ADHD
- with Down syndrome
- with eating disorders
- with intellectual disabilities
- who need learning support at school
- with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and related disorders
- who exhibit challenging behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, property destruction, non-compliance with adults

The course includes 1 laboratory with the following characteristics:
- 8 hours of training divided into 3 sessions (4h, 2h, 2h).
- During the 4-hour session, you will agree on a behavioral intervention project to be concretely implemented during your daily practice.
- During the subsequent 2-hour sessions, the first follow-up and the second follow-up will allow you to receive feedback from the instructor on how to manage, correct, and improve your behavioral project.
Participation Fee: € 390 + € 10 administrative fees. The fee does not include the final course exam, which is optional and costs 90,00 €. Passing the exam will guarantee the issue of the certificate of attendance and passing the course.
Registration is only valid after payment is received.
Refunds for the participation fee will be issued exclusively in the following cases:
If Gerard Enrico Segura Machado cancels or postpones the course,
If the customer withdraws according to the rules defined in the “Withdrawal Policy” (see “General Terms and Conditions of Sale with Gerard Enrico Segura Machado”).
The course will start with a minimum of 11 participants. If the minimum threshold is not met, the start of the course may be postponed to the following month. Spots are limited.
A computer with Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers is necessary to complete some practical activities. A wristwatch with a stopwatch and programmable timer (e.g., sports watches for programming running and rest times) is also recommended.
This course is in Italian due to the large number of participants, but if you know people who are interested, we could offer this training to English speakers. Please contact us.
