7th EDITION
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TRUST
8th EDITION
Parents of children with learning difficulties, challenging behaviors, and/or autism who want to introduce the behavioral approach (ABA) into their practice.
The course is also aimed at teachers, educators, and speech therapists.
The potential users of future behavior technicians are individuals:
- with autism
- with ADHD
- with Down syndrome
- with eating disorders
- with intellectual disabilities
- who need learning support at school
- with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and related disorders
- who exhibit challenging behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, property destruction, non-compliance with adults
- and many more…
Individuals with autism, other disabilities, or learning difficulties often exhibit challenging behaviors and struggle with learning language, independence, academic skills, sharing, social skills, and cooperation with adults.
The most studied and recognized scientific discipline for helping individuals with autism is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which has also shown great results for individuals with other conditions.
It is essential to have specially trained professionals to provide this type of intervention.
A behavior technician is a professional who, through ABA, helps individuals modify their behaviors and achieve their goals.
Becoming a certified IBT® or TdC behavior technician can offer job opportunities and equip those already working with children with additional tools to address challenges.
- IBT®, short for International Behavior Therapist®, is the certification for technicians promoted by IBAO® at the international level.
- TdC, Behavior Technician, is the certification for technicians promoted by IACABAI in Italy.
• Measurement of behavior.
• Assessment of functional skills and challenging behaviors.
• Procedures for acquiring functional skills.
• Procedures for reducing problem behaviors.
• Documentation and communication of session activities.
• Professional and ethical conduct.
The Data Driven ABA online course includes 2 laboratories, each with the following features:
- 8 hours of training divided into 3 sessions (4 hours, 2 hours, 2 hours).
- During the 4-hour session, you will agree on a behavioral intervention project to be implemented in your daily practice.
- During the subsequent 2-hour sessions, the first follow-up (about 1 week later) and the second follow-up (about 2 weeks later), you will receive feedback from the instructor on how to manage, correct, and improve your behavioral project.
